Cabled Cuff Arm-warmers Knitting Pattern

 

Finished Size: 10” long, 12” around unstretched

Yarn: Greenwood Fiberworks BFL roving, 4oz (113g) spun to worsted weight (9 wpi), 170 yds (155m); (“American Diner” colorway modeled) OR ~180 yards (165m) of any worsted weight yarn

Materials: US size 6 needles—40” circular (Magic Loop method) or double-pointed needles; cable needle; yarn needle for weaving in ends;

Gauge: 20 stitches per 4 inches (10cm), 28 rows per 4 inches (10cm) this creates a denser fabric than is usual for worsted weight yarn
patterns

2 x 2 ribbing: knit 2, purl 2

Cabled Cuff pattern:
     Row 1: (slip first two knit stitches to cable needle and hold in front, knit next
          two knit stitches, knit the two stitches from cable needle, p2), repeat around
     Rows 2-6: (knit 4, purl 2), repeat around

Directions:
    Cast on 48 stitches, join in the round being careful not to twist and place
         marker to mark beginning of round  
    Knit 10 rows of 2 x 2 ribbing
    Knit in stockinette for 7”
    Next three rows: (k4, p2), repeat around
    Knit rows 1-6 of Cabled Cuff pattern 4 times
    Bind off loosely, or use a stretchy bind off of your choice
    Weave in ends
